OSHA has recently released new rules on ladders and ladder safety. The ruling is over 750 pages long – way too much for a busy person to absorb so let us visit your site and inspect your fixed ladders and recommend any fixes to your current system or if necessary, any replacements needed.

Current OSHA regulations for fixed ladders 24’ and taller require the installation of a vertical cable system for workers to attach themselves to while ascending or descending.

Additionally ladder cages are no longer considered an acceptable form of fall protection for fixed ladders. They do not have to be removed, but they are no longer needed.
